    Hi – the new directory map asset listing order function does not seem to work. I am trying to order by title (i.e. alphabetically). Changing the setting makes no difference. Is there something I can do to get this working – I am using the most recent plugin and theme versions. Thanks, Mark

    Hi,
    Please use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/ to order the directory listing or any other listing as you desire.
    Thanks

    Hi – I have tried that but it makes no difference. The asset filter keeps returning the posts in the order they were posted in. The plugin reorders them in the editor but not on the front end. Is there anything else we can do – I was told the ordering functionality would be working on the latest version of the theme. Mark

    Hi – I have done what is probably a dodgy hack on this by changing:
    $order = “standard”;
    to
    $order = “title-asc”;
    on lines 236 and 242 of sf-directory.php in the ‘core’ folder.
    It seems to work as I suspect it changes the default setting but I know little of PHP and am sure there is a better way to do this?

    Hello,

    Same problem here, but I have the latest version of cardinal installed, but I can’t find the sf-directory.php file.
    I’ve changed the order with post types order, and I try every option to change the order in the directory listing without results. How can I set the listing alphabetically?

    Thanks in advance

    Niko

    Hi,
    You can find the sf-directory.php file at /cardinal/swift-framework/core.
    Thanks
