Directory category filter

Hey guys, a few amendments to the directory would be amazing:

1. When the directory element is set to only show certain categories, the category filter lists all the categories. Is there a way to only show the categories that are selected in the directory element to show in the filter. Otherwise if a category is selected that is not set to be shown, there will be no results. Seems logical that those categories should be removed from the filter.

2. I have a directory listing in a category and a subcategory e.g Venues > Hotels. The filter lists all the categories in a list but not hierarchical. Is this possible?

I think these two amendments would improve the function of the directory alot.
