    Hi there!

When sending out our newsletter with various direct links to a One Pager I noticed a strange behavior. The page is jumping around and ends further down the site.
For example if you click the first link below and a new tab opens it works fine. Then if you open the second link it briefly shows the correct position but then jumps further down. Same with the third link.

    http://yuna.com/de/graz/#stundenplan
    http://yuna.com/de/graz/#shop
    http://yuna.com/de/graz/#team

I’m not sure but it may have to do something with the hero header that has not fully loaded and then causes the jumping down. But the first link works fine. I also double checked the row IDs. They are all unique.
Is there anything I can do?

    Cheers,
    Tom

    Hi,

Can you update the theme and Swift Framework plugin and re-test: http://yuna.com/wp-admin/update-core.php

    Thanks.

    Hi,

If you now clear your browser cache, please then re-test. Version: 1.9.8 should resolve this, I ran the update.

    Thanks.

    David,

thanks for your effort. I cleared the browser cache and also the cache from our CNS Cloudflare but unfortunately it is still jumping. It is exactly the same behavior as described above.

I tested it with Safari and Chrome. The position was a bit closer with Chrome but still too far away. It would be very helpful if you could resolve this so that when linking from a newsletter our clients get to the desired content.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

There has been an update to address this, your login details are not working for me.

Can you check and update so I can login?

    Thanks

    Hi Tom,

Once I flushed your Media Temple cache, it seems better. The last “Team section” seemed a little of, how does this compare for you:

    Thanks

    David,

this is way better. Thank you. The last link (team) jumps more in my browser (Safari 9.1) but that would be ok. But for example after those 3 links I click the #shop link again then it jumps one whole row down (to “Yuna schenken”). It seems that the more anchor links you open the less precise they work. Do you have an explanation for that? Thanks for your effort!

    Best, Tom

    Hi Tom,

Do you mean the more items you click on the page or the more URLs you enter in the address bar?

    Thanks.

    David,

I meant if I continue to open anchor links after those 3 links. For example I open all 3 links as you did and then click again #shop.

This scenario could happen if a person opens links from a newsletter in different tabs. Some will be quite off the row. To me it seems the further down the site the more off they are.

    Best, Tom
