Hello
I have a strange thing happening, but it only seems to happen with categories, if you have a look at this link for me
http://scaleviz.co.uk/category/guitar-video-lessons/
You can see that the detail media thumbnail is loading itself over the video (which is coming from vimeo),
Is there anyway I can get rid of this from the post page when browsed by category?
Thanks for your time
Shane

Is the video adding in your post content or have you set it as the thumbnail?

April 17, 2015 at 10:19 am #165895Hi Kyle
yes the video is added in my post content, see image (postcontent)
The thumb nail (sorry not the detail image) is a different image set to the same size sepcs for your Mini with sidebar (Standard) โ 370px x 260px, (Retina) โ 740px x 520px, here is a picture of the settings
picture here (thumbdetail)
the use Use the thumbnail content under detail thumbnail is not checked, and the Detail type is set to none, have I got it the wrong way around, is detail thumbnail for the summary and the thumnnail for the image, I’m really not sure thanks, I will attach anothe picture to another post, thanks
and here are both the images I am using (babevideolessonthumb) and (babevideolessonthumb@2x)
Thanks for your assistance

The picture above called (thumbdetail) should have been called thumbnail.
Here are the detail media settings.
I think something is seriously wrong with my install as even the Post Meta Misc. Options, Remove top spacing & Remove bottom spacing do not stay checked when you update the post see image (postmeta)

1: remove the thumbnail image
2: set a custom text excerpt in the post meta options so that it doesn’t use the content from the editor– Kyle
April 17, 2015 at 10:36 am #165915Hi Kyle
I don’t understand either :), although I hope you can set me straight.
Many thanks for your assistance

April 17, 2015 at 10:38 am #165917Hi Kyle
But if I remove the thumbnail, will I not have any image showing in the preview? I thought that was what it was for, I am totally lost now.
Thanks
Shane
