    Hi, I tried a couple of times to import Uplift Demo Site and it seems to import fine except there is no items on menu. I used a fresh wordpress installation and database each time. PHP logs shows no errors. Is this expected?

    Hi,

    Menu’s should be imported as using the plugin. Does the importer run to 100%?

    Please open your wp-config.php file and add this: define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

    Yes, tThe import goes fine to 100%. The memory limit was already configured. All plugins were activated before importing, etc.

    Can you check your max_input_vars variable is 2000 or greater?

    If you want I can text exporting a bulk of the menu into an XML file for you.

    Thanks,
    David.

    It is 5000 according to WooCommerce System Status page (admin.php?page=wc-status).

    Yes, I would like the menus for the main demo and the goods demo.

    David,

    In this XML there are only the menu names. It’s missing the content. And menu names are already on the site.

    The menu names are what you needed right?

    What content are you referring to, not sure I follow 100%.

    I want this (example from the test drive, but I can’t export from there):
    https://s3.postimg.org/qvj15d343/Selection_035.png

    The XML and the importer give me this:
    https://s11.postimg.org/gdq1opi43/Selection_036.png

    Look the XML:

    <wp:term>
    <wp:term_id>145</wp:term_id>
    <wp:term_taxonomy>nav_menu</wp:term_taxonomy>
    <wp:term_slug>main-menu</wp:term_slug>
    <wp:term_name>
    <![CDATA[ Main Menu ]]>
    </wp:term_name>
    </wp:term>

    There is no reference to menu items.

    Hi @zalguod

    Do you have Max Mega Menu enabled before the import? Can you also try removing the importer plugin to re-install the latest version, as we made some import improvements recently.

    I’ve tested the import here and the menus imported fine, so must be something with your site. We may need to login and check if still no luck.

    Yes, it was enabled. I tried again but with no luck. The menus will always import, but without menu items. You can login to check. Do you need anything else?

    Hi,

    Do you mind if I test importing content also on your site? Can you confirm this?

    What PHP version do you have?

    When I test the import again on your site, I can replicate the described issue but not locally.

    Thanks.

    The PHP information is on System Status:
    wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-status

    7.0.10
