Followed all instructions to import data.
Installed the WordPress importer under “tools”
Tried both “dante_demo-content.xml” and “dante_demo-content-alt.xml”
No success on either. Is there something else I need to know about install that isn’t in the video instructions? Thanks.
February 6, 2015 at 12:01 am #147710Hi,
Did you check if any image or page/post was imported?
Did you get any error message?Due to the number of images the import process could be executed several times until receiving the final message “It’s done”

“it’s done” has never shown up. Safari remained stuck on step 2 of import process for 30 minutes both times with “dante_demo-content.xml”
“dante_demo-content-alt.xml” completed but with a list of upload errors.
If I go to settings > reading, and select “Home One: Landing” and save changes, the error below shows up in the page, but most other elements are there.
“Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homeslider not found.”If do the same but select “Home Five: One Page Wonder”
The same error:
Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homeslider not found.
And several content containers are empty.Should I attempt upload again?
I bought the Pivot template last night and had zero upload problems. He built import function into appearance > Customize, on the main dashboard menu. It worked much better than this is working. Is that in future update plans?

Can you provide me access to check things?
Regarding the import process this is done by the WordPress import plugin, nothing related to the theme.
In our 2 latest themes we have our importer plugin to avoid these problems in WordPress Importer.
