Deactivate theme and plugins without losing its configuration – data

Dear swiftideas team,

I am having some translation issues. The German version of the product categories generates a 404 (eg. https://www.tequilaysoledad.com/shop/product-category/tequila-blanco/ -> click on the language switcher and choose German)

WPML is already having a look at this and is asking me to change my theme to Twenty Fourteen (or a default one) and deactivate all plugins except woocommerce.

Is it possible that I lose the configuration of my theme (custom css, etc.) as well as the plugins and data in case I do as they say?

Hi,

The theme options should all stay as long as you do not reset them or wipe your database.

Perform a backup or ask you host to if you have any concerns. Always make backups!
