I am using a child theme and have a combination of boxed and wide view; the page layout is set to full width, but ‘main-container’appears as boxed, ie with page edges & shadows via my custom CSS. The footer should extend the width of the page and have a background image on a transparent background.
Since the update, the footer now shows as boxed, the background image does show but has a white background. I did (stupidly) click on boxed layout in General Options (to see what it would look like), but switched back to full width. However, it won’t go back as it was and I’m not sure if it’s the update and/or switching the page layout that caused the problem. Please see this page to see what I mean (this page uses the ‘Reduced width sidebar’ template). Whereas this page, which uses the same template as is mentioned below, is still showing the footer as it should look.
In addition, my current landing page uses what used to be called the ‘naked-header’ (this was a custom version from you guys, just before the ‘naked-header’ was released). Now when I view this page, the footer background image is missing entirely and the header seems to be missing a row, which used to hold a background image, making it a much deeper header.
I haven’t made any changes, only the recent updates. One of the forum posts mentioned needing to turn on Swift Page Builder and resave the page. In my case Page Builder was/is visible, although ‘Disable Swift Page Builder’ in the options wasn’t showing a state. I have set this to ‘Off’, ie enabling SPB and resaved one of the pages. This didn’t make any difference. I have also seen references to the naked header breaking, but as mine affects the footer too, I thought I’d better get some help before I go hacking away at the code…
Please can you help?
Many thanks in advance!!
