Dante Update Deleted Content

After updating to 3.03, several elements disappeared from the front end of my website even though they are present on the back end. They include (screenshots attached):

Portfolio Showcase: Used to be under the Screenwriting Classes header
Google Map: Used to be under the Contact Us header
Team Carousel: Used to be under the Meet Our Faculty header

Also, the margins for my Woocommerce pages have been turned into negative pixels so that you it appears to be cut off.

How do I correct all of these errors?

I have reverted back to version 2.82 until these issues could be fixed.

Hi,

You will need to run the update and then update your child theme files to match the new updated parent theme file changes.

Let us know when you have done that, if you encounter any issues.

That seemed to work. Unfortunately, I ended up having to throw out the single.php, footer.php, and header.php files I had in my child theme. But the site is back to being operational.

Hi @jkrue123

We made changes to those files in the v3.0 update – you can add your changes to the new versions of the files if you wish – they won’t be changed much again in the near future at least.

With the child theme files you would need to just update those with the new improvements form the parent theme files.
