Hello,
I have exactly the same problem as it is described in this thread: http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/portfolio-pagination-option-bar-and-multi-languages-site-wpml/
I tried to setup different languages in the portfolio page field by changing the flags in the admin-line, but that doesn’t work exactly…
Unfortunately in the mentioned thread the Support (Mohammad) does not explain, how he fixed the problem…..
Please let me know, what was Mohammads solution!
Thank You!May 8, 2017 at 11:37 am #323676Hi,
Not sure how he sorted it(and he doesn’t work with us anymore)
Can you provide us admin access to have a look?
Thanks-Rui

May 10, 2017 at 2:54 pm #324088Hi,
Have you set the page for each WPML language version of the theme options?
May 10, 2017 at 3:18 pm #324093Hi David,
thank you for your reply.
First:
The GERMAN PAGE(=default) https://www.infield-safety.com/augenschutz/
is translated by WPML as ->
https://www.infield-safety.com/it/protezione-degli-occhi/ in italian
https://www.infield-safety.com/en/eye-protection/ in englishSecond (answer to your questions):
I tried to configure that in Admin > Theme Options > Portfolio Options > Portfolio Page
by choosing the LANGUAGE-FLAG in the Admin-Bar and then selecting the page of the corresponding language.
But after saving, the SYSTEM reset the choosen pages automatically
to contact (for english)
to attrezzi accessori (in italian)
as if it only could select the FIRST page of the alphabetical PageList…..That is exactly what VIPROTECH described in his thread ->

May 11, 2017 at 12:38 pm #324237Hi,
In the Theme Options (German Version), I can select and save any page for Portfolio Options => Portfolio Page.
What page do you need set Portfolio Options => Portfolio Page for each:
German?
French?
Spanish? Please also contact WPML support and report this issue: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/.
Thanks.
May 11, 2017 at 1:56 pm #324261Hi David,
Thank you for your reply,
as allready mentioned above, I want the portfolio page be set like this:I want the Portfolio Pagination Index button go back to
https://www.infield-safety.com/augenschutz/ in german
https://www.infield-safety.com/it/protezione-degli-occhi/ in italian
https://www.infield-safety.com/en/eye-protection/ in english
(spanish might be neglected for the moment, because there are no translations yet….)It might be, that for a short moment, immediately after saving, your settings remain.
But after a browser refresh/shift-reload or coming back to this configurations some minutes later, they will be set tohttps://www.infield-safety.com/augenschutz/ in german
https://www.infield-safety.com/it/attrezzi-ed-accessori/ in italian
https://www.infield-safety.com/en/contact/ in englishbelieve me, I tried it for hours….
And I’am not the only one….sincerely
EckhardMay 11, 2017 at 3:54 pm #324292Hi David,
I found the solution myself:
I had a look on the corresponding DATABASE and found just one single result/entry searching for “portfolio option page” (or so):
in -> icl_strings, there was
(29, ‘de’, ‘admin_texts_sf_dante_options’, ‘[sf_dante_options]portfolio_page’, ‘17836’, NULL, ‘LINE’, NULL, 0, ”, ‘0aa06421201ec0001c82a6c4ccca8d8b’, NULL),
what means, that it is indeed WPML’s STRING-TRANSLATION that can do the job!
In Admin > WPML > String Translation > admin_texts_sf_dante_options > [sf_dante_options]portfolio_page
I found the page/post – ID for the default ID “untranslated”. I picked up the correspondent ID’s from the lokalized posts/pages,
put them in there, saved as “translated” – an that was it!Works now as desired!

May 12, 2017 at 12:19 pm #324441Hi Eckhard,
Glad you got this sorted and thanks for reporting.
Did you also post a ticket for WPML? We work closely with them, it maybe we can improve this to make it easier.
Thanks.
