    Hi,
    I’ve just installed WPML to manage my site in 2 languages, and I’ve seen that Dante is always showing the flags. I’ve already seen your css code to solve it.

    Now I see that even if I indicate in WPML config that when a page is not translated the altern language doesn’t have to be shown, the switcher in Dante is always showing both languages. So it’s another mistake, this doesn’t follow the WPML config.

    How can I solve it? Is there any easy way to add a wpml native language switcher?

    Hi,
    Please install WPML and make switcher according you. Dante will display switcher as you desire. Currently dante have dummy switcher. It will remove after installing WPML.

    Hi Mohammad,

    WPML is already installed, and Dante is diplaying the switcher but the behaviour is not the expected because doesn’t respect the wpml config options. Please read my first message.

    Are you using any cache plugin? Please activate default wordpress theme and check.

    Hi,
    Can you please attach screenshot your WPML settings? Where did you make to hide language selector for untranslated pages? I need full permission in wordpress admin.

    Hi,

    attached you’ll find the screenshot. It’s in WPML > Idiomas section (languages).

    The wrong option is in “Instrucciones para utilizar los idiomas sin traducir” – “Omitir el idioma” (omit language).

    The language selector doesn’t have to be hidden, it’s just the non-translated language that has to be hidden when that page is not translated.
    I have other websites/themes where this works ok.

    WPML support?

    I think that’s a theme problem, the same that happens with the problem of always showing flags (even if you select not to show them in wpml options) and that was solved by you with css, because they’re theme problems of compatibility with WPML. Isn’t it?

    Hi,
    Please activate wordpress default theme and check for this issue. You can include Language switcher in menu for default wordpress theme.

    Hi Mohammad,

    it’s not necessary to activate another theme. I’ve just activated the WPML option that puts an extra language switcher in the footer menu and that selector works perfect: only shows the available language.
    You can see it in the footer of my website.
    So the problem is the top language switcher. Can you check it?
