Hi, I wanted to upload a custom webfont (tried: *.eot, *.svg and *.woff). After clicking “Add Fonts” and selecting the font from the mordpress media library – it still displays: “No Custom Fonts Found”.

I found no documentation regarding custom font handling – can you please help?

    Thanks in regard!

    Hi,

We still having a problem in the font upload in our Theme options framework from Redux team.

Try to upload it manually to wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts. If it doesn’t exist create this directory structure.

Inside that directory create a specific directory for each new custom font, after this they should appear in the dropdown.

    Hey Rui,

I have the same problem. I’ve uploaded the font files in the custom-fonts directory (*.ttf, *.eot, *.svg and *.woff). Now I see the custom font in the admin panel, but I can not select it.

Any help? Do I have to upload a css file for the font too?

    Thanks, Dan

There’s an issue with the custom font upload, unfortunately you won’t be able to use custom fonts in this way for the time being until Redux fix it.

    Hi

Same comment, I have tried to upload custom fonts (*.otf and *.ttf) through the font option panel but I have no message and I can’t find the font in drop list. Any help?

As far as I understand REDUX fixed a bug with similar effect in version 1.0.1 – see: https://reduxframework.com/extension/custom-fonts/#lightbox%5Bgroup-777%5D/1/

I am not quite sure from your source which version of this extension is bundled with Atelier? How are your plans on fixing this?

    Thanks for support.

    1.0.1
Fonts not properly enqueuing on front end
Deleting one font front font control would hide all fonts.
    Updated file system API
fonts.css not updating with added (or deleted) fonts.

Will forward to the developer to confirm if this has been fixed yet

We are using v1.04 of the extension – that issue fixed in 1.01 was different, this has occurred since WordPress changed their API. I’ll follow it up with Redux, but it’s a BIG job unfortunately, from what I’ve gathered.

If you are uploading manually, make sure you have added the font name as a folder within /custom-fonts/ and then put the font files within.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for support, I’ll try adding my font by inserting it via ftp in the described directory. That would be okay for me as changing my custom font is nothing I do on a regular basis.

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi

    @Ed,

Can you please give the full path of ‘custom-fonts’ directory? I have tried several solutions and it doesn’t work, I think I have uploaded in the wrong location.

    Cheers

    Sure, hope this helps:

    wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/fontname

This way my custom webfont (.eot, .svg, .woff) is listed in the Custom Fonts dropdown at the very top of the list (above/outside the “Standard” group)but is not selectable 🙁

    Checked permissions on the server.

@daniel78 can you provide us your site url and admin credentials to see if we find the reason for it? Use the private reply.

    Thanks

    Hey!

I had the same problem. But now I have come a bit further.
You need to add two subfolders in the custom-fonts folder.
    e.g. wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/visby/visby-light/ … fontfiles .eot. ttf …

Now I can select the custom font in the admin panel. And I see the different types of fonts that I have uploaded.

But now I have the next problem. I can select… but it is not shown the letters of my custom font, but now I see the letters of Arial font every time. Somehow the letters of my custom font are not displayed right. I the frontend I see the Times font.

    Any ideas?
Do I need to upload a css file?

    Thanks for help!
