    Hello,

So I’ve got a custom taxonomy — byline — that I need to create a custom archive page for. So far, via a child theme, I’ve created taxonomy-byline.php, copying archive.php, and created+referenced /swift-framework/layout/byline.php, and all that’s working great. BUT I can’t seem to figure out how to get the page heading to include the name of the taxonomy item. In Dante, it was easy, but the code that spits out page headings seems buried in Cardinal. Suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

    The code is in /swift-framework/sf-page-heading.php

We re-wrote it to be a single output function, as there was too many redundant instances of the same code. You can add conditions in there to suit your needs. Just copy the function from within down to your child theme functions.php file.

Thanks, Ed. I’ll see what I can accomplish with my limited PHP skills 😉
