Custom post type override for portfolio view

Hi all,

I love how portfolio items look on this page:

I saw that there is an option to override the default post type for this view – so get it to show ‘Post’ types instead of ‘Portfolio’ types.

When I select that I can see all my blog posts. Looks fantastic.

However, pretty much everything on my site is a ‘Post’ type – blog posts, wedding day blogs, engagement shoots etc. I separate these using categories.

Is there any easy way of further limiting the type of blog post it shows, so that I can only see posts in the weddings category, for example?

It is possible to only select categories, but now that you mention it I think it will only be the portfolio categories. I will check this, and will forward to the developer if this is the case
