Hey there, I just bought the Dante theme because I was interested in the page builder functionality for one of my clients, I guess I didn’t look closely enough, because it turns out you can’t build custom headers with the page builder.
So here’s what I’m wondering. Is there a way that I can set the theme up to run a different header for different page templates? I’m setting up a site with a few different sections, and I need each section to display it’s own header with different menus.
I wanted to just do this by making different header-example.php files and then use different page templates for each section that call the header they need. But I can’t seem to wrap my head around how to make this work with the swift framework setup ( sf-menus.php and sf-header.php etc that you use in the theme)
Can I just copy the sf-header.php file and put it in a child theme, rename it sf-header-example.php, call that file from the page template, then make the changes I need to make it display how I want?
Let me know if there’s an easier way to do this that I’m missing. Thanks.
Running dante version 2.54
wordpress version 3.9.1
testing.crashmasterpads.com is the URL, but I haven’t really started putting things together yet since I don’t want to waste time building pages if I can’t get the headers to display how I want.
