Hello,
I have uploaded the custom font ‘Monotype Modern Std Extended’ for Headers <H1> and <H2>. Unfortunately these are not loading properly. Please see attachments for what the font should look like. I have also included the correct font zip file.
My host says the error is as follows:
Error: Connection timed out after 60002 milliseconds<br><br>Your font could not be converted at this time. Please try again later. The only file(s) imported were those uploaded. Please refresh the page to continue (making note of any errors before doing so, please).
Can anyone offer a solution to get this font to convert and show properly on the site. It used to work, but something has suddenly stopped working and I can’t figure out what it is. I can forward your response to my host if necessary.
Thanks you.

This is caused by the Redux powered theme options panel, in particular their font extension.
We have informed them of this error and are awaiting a response from them.
Thanks.

Someone suggesting copying the following into this file – http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/fonts.css
@font-face {
font-family:’Monotype Modern Std Extended’;
src:url(‘http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/custom/Monotype Modern Std Extended/Monotype-modern-std-extended.eot?8natnz’);
src:url(‘http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/custom/Monotype Modern Std Extended/Monotype-modern-std-extended.eot?8natnz#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’),
url(‘http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/custom/Monotype Modern Std Extended/Monotype-modern-std-extended.ttf?8natnz’) format(‘truetype’),
url(‘http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/custom/Monotype Modern Std Extended/Monotype-modern-std-extended.woff?8natnz’) format(‘woff’),
url(‘http://www.grapelondon.com/wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/custom/Monotype Modern Std Extended/Monotype-modern-std-extended.svg?8natnz#Monotype Modern Std Extended’) format(‘svg’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}I’ll try that whilst I wait to hear from Redux.
Thanks

December 11, 2015 at 12:56 pm #234872Hi @grapelondon
Can you try re-uploading the font – have spoken to Redux and they’ve said the conversion service should be back to fully functional now.

December 11, 2015 at 1:34 pm #234878Hi Ed.
Still no luck. The Redux conversion thing seems completely broken? No custom font I upload renders properly. For the timebeing I’ve had to using the Google Font- Old Standard TT but this isn’t ideal.
Am I doing something wrong with the file upload? Is there anything I need to upload directly into the folders via FileZilla?
December 11, 2015 at 1:35 pm #234879I’ll check that font file you’ve uploaded locally and let you know what’s up.

December 11, 2015 at 1:37 pm #234880I’ve deleted the font file from the theme now, shall I re-upload? I’ve also attached the file into this thread somewhere above incase you would like to upload directly?
December 11, 2015 at 1:48 pm #234886Just tested your attached font file locally, and all worked perfectly for me – if you try re-uploading, do you still get errors? If so can you confirm the errors?
Thanks.

December 11, 2015 at 1:57 pm #234892Thanks David, I just uploaded again and it’s working now. Relieved!
Is it ok to upgrade to WordPress 4.4? My site won’t change/ delete the theme customisations/ go back to square 1 will it?
Many thanks.
December 11, 2015 at 2:08 pm #234900No problem.
As long as you haven’t changed any of the theme files directly (php/css etc) then you’re fine to update.
