Custom Font Color Fancy Header

First off thanks for another awesome theme!
My only issue thus far is that I am trying to design using the Fancy Header and the option of Light (White) or Dark (Black) as font color options really don’t work for what I am trying to do. Is there a simple CSS code I can use to change the font color in the Fancy Header to a custom color?

color:#ff0000 !important;
}

Thank you for your reply. I placed the CSS Code provided above into my child theme swapping out the color code but there is no change.
