    I am using firebug and when I make the color changes it works – I copy and paste the css in the custom css in the backend

    #h4.lined-heading span
    background-color:#84D342;
    }

    .alt-bg.alt-nine {
    background-color:#84D342;

    And nothing happens – can you please help ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi,

    Try using !important at the end.

    #h4.lined-heading span
    background-color:#84D342 !important;
    }

    Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    I had a similar issue, so I downloaded “My Custom CSS” plugin to handle it. I saw somewhere that the customized theme info had to be in the child theme, is that why?

    Hi,

    Pass me the WP Login details, I will check that out. Custom CSS should work..

    You can Google like this https://www.google.co.in/search?q=advantage+of+child+theme for taking advantage of the Child theme.

    Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hi,

    You missed a closing } in the Custom CSS, now take a look.

    Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Now it is black, you put two CSS codes(the same one), so delete one and add a black one.

    Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.
