    Hi

I want to show in my blog (my articles) all the categories except one (news).

The thing is i want to create a news page (article from newspapers and other blogs), creating a “news” category in post pages.

If i do that i have my news page correctly but muy blog (my articles) appear mixed with the news. Thats the reason i want to know the way to show in my blog all the categories except one (news). Or perhaps any other way to do a news page.

    Thanks in advance

    Miquel

In the blog swift page builder element you can choose the categories.

    Hi maparici,

Which type of element you choose in Swift page builder? Click control and select each and every category you want to include.

Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hi Laranz,

I choose the element “Blog”. Then, click on edit, and go to “Blog category”. Here i have a dropdown menú with the categories (all, category1, category2…). I can’t select several categories because is a dropdown menu (click control doesn’t work). I can only select one

    Thanks in advance
    Miquel

    Hi Miquel,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, I thought you are using the neighborhood theme, you are using pinpoint..

Directly try this shortcode in a page.

    [blog blog_type="standard" item_count="5" category="cat1,cat2" excerpt_length="20" pagination="yes" width="1/1" el_position="first last"]

Cat1, cat2 are the category slugs.

You can put a blog element, and customize it in that page using the swift builder, then click classic editor, now you see a shortcode insert there, in that change the category parameter like the above.

Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.
