Create child theme

Hi David,

I’m still having trouble setting this up. I do not think it’s to do with my localhost setup as I can install child instances of the default TwentyFifteen theme that comes packages with wordpress 4.3.1. Did you set up a WordPress Multisite network before installing Child theme?

I’ve gotten the child theme to work on a standard wp installation but cannot get it working on a multisite install..

Remember, with a new theme(as in this child theme) you need to Network Activate it from your Root Multisite admin area first, before you can activate it a site level.

Yes, I just checked there and it is set to active across the Network.

1) What error messages do you get?
2) Do you see the theme in Appearance Themes?
3) I am running this on a multisite with no issues.
4) Without a live link, there is not much we can do for you. At best provide some screenshots.
