Create Account on checkout

Hi,

When I try to create an account on checkout, I get a modal form asking for username , password and password confirmation. After entering these fields, I click the Done button and the modal closes but nothing happens.

What could I be missing?

Hi,

Sorry for a late response. Apologies.

It will create the account at the Order finishes, like you add some products and come to checkout page, and click create an account, it asks your username and password, the you click, then click all the needed details, then at the end, by clicking place order, it creates an account for you. with that username and password.

So, no way of having a register button to create an account beforehand (without order)? Any woocommerce plugin which does the trick which you have knowledge of?

I’m concerned about the wishlist functionality which is something that could be well used while still not making an order. I realize that the wishlist is maintained in session, but associating it with an account would be best.

Hi Miguel,

You can set a register link in the menu, or alt menu if you’d like. Pointing them to the my account page will give them the option to register.
