    Hey there!

Love Swift Ideas, been a customer for years now.

We’re having a little trouble with viewing our website on mobile browsers. Every time we open it on Google Chrome or Safari on our phones, it crashes. On Chrome it will load and then crash once you start scrolling some. On Safari it will say “There was a problem with the website and we needed to reload.” It doesn’t happen every time on Safari but I’d say it happens most of the time. On Chrome it’s every single time.

It hasn’t been like this forever–just within the past few months. Because of this though, our bounce rate has sky rocketed.

I’ve tried to investigate the problem myself but have come up with nothing. Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks so much for any help!

    Hi,

I think it can be related to several outdated plugins. Try to update at least the SwiftFramework to see if anything changes. You should also update the other plugins.

    Hey Rui!

Unfortunately it’s not the plugin updates. All those are fairly new and we’ve had problems with the mobile site crashing even when everything is updated. I went through and updated all the plugins and the problem is still occurring.

Any other ideas as to what it could be?

In that case, it can be a plugin conflict. If you can replicate that mobile error easily then try to deactivate all plugins except Woocommerce and SwiftFramework to see if that still happens.

Also check your server error logs for any error that can give us additional info.
    Thanks

Awesome, I’ll take a look and see if that’s what is causing the problem! Thanks for the tip, I’ll let you know what I find.
