Hello,

Is there a way to customize the countdown for Christmas? I’d like to change the color of the text to red and add the text “until Christmas” underneath the countdown. Possible?

You can use the shortcode text options:

[sf_countdown year="2015" month="12" day="25" fontsize="large" displaytext="Countdown Until"]

This may be a silly question but what type of element would I add to a page to insert the shortcode? Text box?

Sure, you can use a text box, switch to “Text” tab view when pasting it in.

Okay – I added it to our page. Is there a way to change the change the color of the actual countdown text?

I was able to change the color of the countdown text – see bottom of of home page. However, I can’t get the text “Until Christmas” to change to red. Am I missing something?

Sure,

You can use this CSS, please amend the colors with your required hex code:

.sf-countdown {
    color: red;
}

.countdown-subject {
    color: red !important;
}
