Hi guys,

I’ve been working on this site forever to get it right, but the site stays so slow (too slow!).
And that is probably due to its CPU usage.

It should be a sufficient hosting package it is running on.

What I’ve already tried to solve the issue:
– Switched all plugins off (no single plugin seems to be causing the high CPU usage)
– Cleaned up the media library
– optimized msql database

The issue remains and the CPU usage sky-rocks when an simple (small) image is added to the media library.
Is this due to any script used in the theme? (that was the suggestion of my webhost helpdesk).

I’m not using any plugin that works on the images, as far as I know.

Please help.

Can you try to do the same with the default Twenty Fourteen theme?
