    Hi swiftideas,

I’ve translated my website to danish, but i’ve got some few strings still showing as default language (english).

I have found the strings correctly translated in “woocommerce-da_DK.po”, but it’s still translated wrong frontend. What can i do?

I’ve attached a screenshot showing the error.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Please install and use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/real-time-find-and-replace/ for untranslated strings. Hope it should help you.
    Thanks

    Hi again,

Even after using the plugin “real-time-find-and-replace”, i’m still left with one untranslated string.

The text “Your cart is empty.” in the cart-dropdown-menu, should be “Din indkøbskurv er tom.” (Attachement)

    Thanks

    – Mathias

    Hi,

    Download the nl_NL.po file.

    To amend the translations:

    1) Download POEdit https://poedit.net/
    2) Search through your strings and amend the translations. Save your file.
    3) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
    4) When finished, click File => Compile to MO.
    5) Upload your new language files BOTH nl_NL.po and nl_NL.mo to the folder joyn/languages/

    Thanks,
    David.

I’ve found the string in the original en_US.po file, but i’ve been translating the strings to danish a time ago by myself, so the string doesn’t appear in my own da_DK.po file. I assume the string has been added later on?

Is it possible to update the da_DK language file, without loosing all my translations?
It would be nice if i only had to translate the new strings?

    Thanks

    Hi,

That is tricky, you can you use updated en_US.po as the base for the new translation file, save it as dk_DK but you would need to manually add in your translations.

    Thanks,
    David.
