Been pretty stumped on this little problem that I have been seeing after an update.
When going to my site http://www.bumpmedia.ca you can see the site load fully, but the content will lag behind and display afterwards with approv 6-7 seconds delay.
I’ve ran waterfalls benchmarks to see if there’s anything in particular causing this long delay but cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I have contacted multiple sources to see if it’s the hosting, or some of the content that I may have uploaded to cause this, but they’re saying it’s the theme.
June 2, 2014 at 8:51 am #79441Hi,
It loaded very fast here. Your internet may slow or any server issue. Please always use WP Super Cache plugin. Thanks ๐

Swift IdeasJune 2, 2014 at 9:23 am #79447That could not be the case, I have had numerous other visitors to the site inform me of how the page does not fill for a while.
It could not possibly be internet or server, I’ve already switched hosting services just to test this theory out as well.
I have logged in from multiple computers as well as have various people inform me that it has a delay to load the content.
WP Super Cache is installed as well already.

Can you please attach screenshots for this issue so i can assist you further and debug the issue ?
Thanks ๐

Swift IdeasJune 2, 2014 at 9:47 am #79458I have attached three screenshots of different parts of the site.
As you can see (page_slow_load.jpeg)when we click on the About us Menus, the site loads the framework, but the content is empty, it will eventually load the remainder of the content approx 7 seconds later.
It is quick to load the frame, but any content it takes a while to appear.
The other two examples you can see partial content loading, then the remainder of the content will appear shortly after the 7-8 seconds of lag/delay time.
In all of the examples the frame is there, but not the content.
June 2, 2014 at 10:02 am #79468Hi,
Please disable plugin one by one and debug the issue. Any plugin may conflict.
Thanks ๐

Swift IdeasJune 2, 2014 at 10:43 am #79499I have turned off all Plugins prior in making this ticket.
June 3, 2014 at 5:29 am #79694Hi,
Please read this article http://www.rackaid.com/blog/wordpress-slow-speed-up/ and follow and i hope that your site will be speed up.Thanks
June 3, 2014 at 9:12 am #79756Hi Mohammad,
Have you even gone to the site yet? It is very clearly visible that it is slow.
I’ve followed each and everyone of those steps for troubleshooting purposes.I’ve removed each plugin individually to see if there’s any sort of conflict. I’ve disabled them all to see if there would be any sort of improvements in the page load speeds. Nothing
I’ve even gone to the extent in migrating the whole site to another host to see if the server was the issue. No nothing.
This slowness that I’ve began to see occurred ever since the update rolled out. So it has to be CSS/JS that’s somewhere triggering the content to appear slowly.
I’ve consulted numerous support teams from the host, and they have verified that it is not the server, and it is the theme itself. If you like I can take a video shot of how slow the site appears if you have not taken the time to visit the site yet.
Running queries of waterfalls does not visually give you the reported problems that my site is facing.
June 3, 2014 at 9:18 am #79757HI,
Yes i see your issue. Please install WordPress Better Minify Plugin and let me know your feedback.
ThanksJune 3, 2014 at 9:35 am #79761Thank you for the quick response.
I have installed the Better WordPress Minify Plugin, it has not improved the the site load speed at all.
It does break the Font Awesome Icons though on the front page when installed.
I’m almost wanting to delete the theme and reinstall it from scratch to see if it would help.
June 3, 2014 at 9:48 am #79764Hi,
Hope that should help and let me know. Thanks ๐

Swift IdeasJune 20, 2014 at 8:39 am #83959So I’ve spent a lot of time on this problem.
As suggested from above, I have deleted the whole folder, re-downloaded the theme and uploaded the theme again, I am still having the same problem with content slowly loading/appearing on the site.I have tried other themes and have confirmed that it is not my server/internet speed, we have migrated the whole site onto different hosts, and still the same problem.
We have tried Minify/W3 Cache, numerous items to help speed up the load times, but nothing has helped.
I have narrowed it down to it is Theme specific, we have tried multiple themes, and load time were normal 3-4 seconds, flip back to FlexForm and load jumps to double and more.
This has been very frustrating as we have fully developed our theme to work with FlexForm, if suggesting us to use an alternate theme to resolve this issue, it is simply unacceptable.
Please help.
June 20, 2014 at 8:54 am #83969Hi,
The developer of theme will assist you very soon.
Thanks ๐

Swift IdeasJune 20, 2014 at 8:55 am #83971I do think this could be related to the Swift Builder that’s incorporated in the FlexForm theme.
The Swift Builder is the only difference that the other themes don’t have, as well as the Font Awesome.
