    Hi,

    Basic Comments are not showing up for me, I have deactivated Disqus since it was not loading, now basic wordpress comments are also not showing up for any post.. please help in fixing this…

    Hi,

    Have you made sure that the comments are still enabled globally and/or on the post(s) individually?

    If yes, please show us your site so we can investigate further.

    yes I enabled comments for all posts, and disqus was working before, not sure when it got stopped…

    I got the same problem, comments are enable on my post and comment doesn’t show up… I keep looking this post waiting for a solution.

    Go to Comments > Disqus, and make sure you have this set up and logged in.

    You didn’t have comments enabled on the post. You can set this by quick editing the post or going to the screen options tab and enabling discussion, then enabled “Comemnts”.

    Wow, it worked. Thanks a lot Ed.
    so key is to enable ‘Discussion’, is there any way by which it can be automatically enabled for all the posts? I mean I don’t need to enable manually for each and every post.
