    Hi,

    How would I go about stopping the email field being required (though still being a field choice) in comments?

    Also, how would I hide the website field?

    Hi Gav,

    You’d want to override the theme’s comments.php file, by adding it to the child theme, and then modifying it.

    Adding the attached file (unzipped) to the provided child theme should sort it for you, let me know.

    Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, it gives an error in each post instead of the comments box:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/dev1/public_html/wp-content/themes/dante-child/comments.php on line 72
