Coming soon page broken on mobile

Hi,

a few weeks ago I set the default Atelier coming soon page and it was fine.

I just happened to check it now and it is broken on mobile (android lollipop 5.1, latest Chrome stable), the main image is halfaway on the screen, not centered or zoomed . No problems on desktop.

I’m sure it was okay before. It changed after a wordpress or atelier update.

I tried to change the settings but nothing happens.

Any clues?

It seems because of the ratio of the image.
Can you try turn the image more square?

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. The screenshot is from your Atelier demo site.
Two weeks ago it was ok on any screen, no matter the ratio.

Anyway I tried with a squared image on my installation and the problem is the same.

It looks like the image is no longer properly zoomed/centered as it used to be on mobile, it is just resized.

Has somthing changed in wordpress or atelier code in the meanwhile maybe?

EDIT: see another screenshot with the desktop browser window resized to tablet size: the background image resizes really badly, likely a code issue

In the meanwhile I checked other Swiftideas themes and can confirm it is an Atelier issue.

Try to resize the browser window to mobile/tablet size.

Hi

This is because we have set the height to auto for the Rows set to window height on mobile, because before we had issues with content overflowing a window height row on mobile.

Try adding this to your custom css:

.page-template-template-holding .spb_parallax_asset.parallax-window-height {
  min-height: 1024px;
}

Hi,

ok the image looks much better now.

Text still jumps to the top of the page though, not centered on portrait.

Hope there will be a better fix in the future so that it will be as good-looking as before.

Well if we make it the same as before people will again suffer issues of the row not being high enough for their content on mobile
