    wordpress: 3.8
    theme version: 1.5.1

    In WP dashboard:
Theme Options > Footer Options > Footer Layout
i select the 2/3 1/3 option. (total of 2 columns)

then I go to Appearance > Widgets
I see Footer Column 1, Footer Column 2, Footer Column 3
(I would have expected just two, not three)

If i put a text widget in Footer column 1, I would have expected it to take up 2/3 width of page, but it takes up just the left-most one-third.

is this a bug, or am i doing something dumb:

    Hi!
This does not happen on our installations, so if you need help with a specific problem on your website, I would always need to see your site live please.

Could you tell me your website URL please? You can do so by typing it into a reply.

If you want to send a private reply that only you and the admins can see it, please scroll down and enable the checkbox to do so.
Also, we might need to check the backend of your website, so to speed things up, could you let me know your login details please?

    Thanks and cheers!

Hi! Maybe I should know the answer, but here’s a very quick question: is it possible to manage more than 4 columns in footer?
    Thanks and best regards.

    Hi,
Yes ,Its technically possible but unfortunately that is not part of the current theme functionality, and it’s not within the scope of our support to be able to provide that functionality as it is more work than a small customisation. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need that functionality, potentially from one of the below resources:
