Seriously? What’s wrong with having that much css in the header?

Page Performance for starters and it’s not easily maintainable and it can cause conflicts.

I can’t believe I have to explain this.

The CSS that is outputted in the header is the dynamic css that is produced by what you set for things like colors, fonts, font sizes etc. As it uses php to pull in which ever colors etc you set, this can’t be in a css file because there would be know way to do it.

As you can see, all the major themes use the same method:

    view-source:http://theme-fusion.com/avada/
    view-source:http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ascend/
    view-source:http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/5/portfolio/
