I created a new translation es_PE by duplicating the es_ES one provided and editing in poedit (os x). I saved the file (after changing the properties from spanish to spanish (peru) and then uploaded both the es_PE.p and es_PE.mo files to the language directory in neighborhood.

when I go to edit the po file in codestyling-localization i get the following message:

Your translation file doesn't support the multiple textdomains in one translation file extension.
Please re-scan the related source files at the overview page to enable this feature.

When i go to the overview page and rescan the Español/España langague i get the following message:

the You do not have the permission to read the file '/public/wp-content/themes/neighborhood/includes/swift-framework/meta-box/lang/es_PE.po'.

I know the persmissions of that directory on my server are fine (I am the sys admin). I am new to translations in WP, I think I am doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Update: so it’s trying to read a file that does not exist, i see that now 😉 so I duplicated the es.po file and renamed accordingly… will report back progress..
