Clickable Image in Rev Slider to open Video Lightbox

Here’s my challenge. I would like to put a clickable image layer in Rev. Slider that would open a video in a light box over the top of the slider. How would I do that?

You would need to install a lightbox plugin for the video, then add the shortcode (most likely) to the slide.

Hi Kyle, I have tried 2 different lightbox plugins and every configuration I can think of but nothing has worked yet. I have tried adding an image layer and then putting the code in “image link” box and in the text/HTML field. I have also tried adding a regular layer and then putting the code into text/HTML field to create the image. The shortcode would typically look something like this:

[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClAcBHa8cJM” width=560 height=315 description=”The Power of a Winning Attitude” source=”http://quantumleap1000.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/play-video.png” title=”The Power of a Winning Attitude”]

(or I would use HTML which I can’t show because it gets deleated when I hit submit)

I realize this is likely a case of me not knowing what I am doing and any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE Hey Kyle, I changed some plugin settings and finally got it to work using a standard layer with the shortcode in the text/html field. Thanks for your help!
