Clean up database from sample data

Hi,

Unfortunately I created website by editing the sample data provided with the theme. I now realised that the database is in unoptimised state. The site is in production environment and it is very difficult to recreate the site from scratch. Is there anyway I can clean up the sample data from database without affecting site real data?

Hi Shahid,

You’d need to manually remove the pages/posts/media, there isn’t something that would remove just the sample data for you. For database optimization, I’d suggest this plugin – https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/
