Child Theme Activation Looks All Wrong

Hi,

I tried to create a child theme but now the website looks as if it doesn’t have any styling applied anymore. I followed the instructions in the zip folder that comes with this theme, and uploaded both ‘neighborhood’ and ‘neighborhood-child’ folders into wp-content/themes/. The parent theme works fine, but activating the child theme results in a retarded website. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, the website is live. I can view it from multiple devices. Perhaps I spelt it wrong, it’s http://www.hereboy.com.au

OK, I reverted the theme back to parent, maybe that’s why it wasn’t working for you. If not, do you have any ideas as to why you’re getting barred? Is there a location based setting somewhere that’s keeping you out?

Hi,

I had most of Asia blocked due to hacking attempts, I’ve temporarily disabled it, so now you should have access, although you might have to ‘force refresh’.

I saw that in the wp-content/themes/neighbourhood-child you create another folder called neighbourhood-child and put the style.css and functions.php, I suggest you to put the style.css and functions.php directly under the child theme folder, don’t create another folder inside it.. http://take.ms/1CmgV
