    On the “checkout page / billing address” the telephone number is required. Any chance to change this or get rid of this field?

    Hi

    You would need to edit the WooCommerce files, this is all default woocommerce so you might be better asking them

    Kyle,
    it would have been very easy for you to tell me where and how I can change that. I would not have changed the whole design. Very pity. Take you an example of Mohammad, who is exemplary in terms of the support.

    Actually it wouldn’t, we have never touched the files for the checkout form, so for me to tell you which file to edit and how I would have to find out first for myself, and as it’s not a theme issue I’m not required to do that. When instead you could go straight to WooCommerce support and they can tell you instantly.
