Changing Page Width?

I don’t think that either having pages on “full width” or “boxed” works for my site.

How do i personalize this? Can I?

Hi, can you rephrase your question? What do you mean it doesn’t work? What exactly are you trying to do and how are you setting it up? What would you want to personalize?

As far as I can see, it is only possible for me to choose two different page widths (or layouts) – “boxed content” or “full page width” (located under the “Generel options” -> “theme options” -> “page layout”).

Even within the “boxed content” page layout, the page width is too wide for my needs. So my questions is: Can I change this so the content will only appear on a smaller part of the screen? A personalized version of the “boxed content”, thereby making the page content area more narrow.

You could do this, but you’d need to manually change the CSS. The theme uses Bootstrap 2.3.2, which is a wide css grid.

It’s not possible within the theme options.

and the changes to style.css would be in which tag? and what would they be?

Hi guys,

The idea here is that changing the layout is a very advanced customization that cannot be covered by our free theme support.

Ed mentioned what version of the Twitter Bootstrap framework the theme is using, and suggested that you will need to custom code it yourself, should you have this need, as the theme options don’t have any controls/buttons that do this.

@JayJay – we are here to help, but as I said, we do not do customizations.
