I moved a working website from a folder to the root folder using the Duplicator plugin.
The website works well except changes to settings of pages are not applied. Text (title and content) change without problem. I have tried several things, but now I’m at a loss with how to fix this.
So far, I’ve:
1) Uninstalled W3TC:
– Delete W3 total Cache
– Changed line from Wp-config file to (define(‘WP_CACHE’, false) )
– Delete advanced-cache.php, db.php, wp-total-cache-config.php
– Deleted w3tc folder from wp-content folder.
– Checked .htaccess file, didn’t find any code added by w3tc.
2) Tried temporarily changing permissions to WordPress php files from 644 up to 777.
I know this is probably an admin question, but I ask it here in case someone had similar issues.
Would anyone know how to fix this?
