Change placement featured image in post slider

Hi there,

I’m very busy fixing the last settings for our new website but I keep running into the post slider on the frontpage.
It looks very good, off course, and works like a charm but it keeps placing the featured images very bad. I don’t know if it loads the images from the top and stops at the given height for the slider but it sometimes leads to the fact that only half of a head is shown. Kind of sad.
Is it possible that I can select the part of the featured image which has to be shown on the post slider? ‘Cause the image as a whole in the post itself looks very good, so resizing the image isn’t an option.

I hope you know what I mean, looks kind of jibberish maybe.

Hi Eva,

Problem is, a fullwidth slider works by adapting the image to the browser window size, so dimensions are key here.

You could either edit your images or, try with this custom CSS, to make the slider taller:

#posts-slider, #posts-slider ul.slides, #posts-slider ul.slides > li {
  max-height: 600px !important;
}

(default is 450px)
