Change or Adjust Default Template

Can I change or add a new page template?

I have created a revolution slider which I want to be full screen/responsive, etc. under the header and footer.

Right now I set the page as the default template and it’s got a huge space under the header with a page title:

Hey Kyle,

I had to change hosts and reinstall/build this site…same problem, possible to fix again, or just let me know what needs to happen?

More detail: I’m trying to setup a revolution slider to fit fullscreen within the header and footer. When I publish the page there’s a couple problems:

1) The big “Featured Work” text I would like not to show up.
2) If the window is short and I scroll the slider is on top of the header
3) Any way to make the slider fill the space between header and footer without any gaps and overlaps?

Re: #2 above…I also noticed that any sub menus that drop down are underneath the slider as well.
