Ok, looked here on the forum, and tried and tried on my own, just can’t get this right..

Every instance of a Font Awesome icon wants to align left and i CANNOT get to center or align right.

I want to be able to align center, both font awesome shortcode (such as [icon image="eye-open" size="large" cont="yes"] ), and with inline tags (such as <i class=”icon-camera-retro”></i>.

I’d like to be able to center the font awesome icon within columns.

Someone please help. I know I’ve just gotta be overthinking this..

Thanks in advanced. The theme, the support, and the community here are great and I appreciate you.

    Hi,

Can you give a link, like where you want to center those icons?

    Thanks,
    laranz.

Hey Laranz, thanks for the reply.

No link available as site is not yet live.

I guess just in general. I want to be able to center within a column, or footer widget, or full length text block.

With that, the float=”right” approach seems to work in a lot of situations. Example:

    [one_third]
    <h3 style="text-align: center;">  [icon image="sitemap" size="large" cont="no" float="center"]</h3>
    <h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Super Awesome Header Here</span></h3>
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Vivamus tempor metus vitae nisl aliquam viverra. Phasellus a diam sit amet turpis feugiat blandit ac nec ante.
    Find out more <i>></i>[/one_third]

As you can see, some spacing was required to get the icon centered, but this was the only way I could make it work..

    Thanks again!

    Ryan

    Hi,

You can center it using the text-align – center, but there is nothing like float – center.

    Glad you find a way.

    Thanks,
    laranz.
