    Hey,

I don’t know if it’s something I did amidst some customization, but the page title on my category pages is gone…

Let me know how I can get that to reappear!

    Thanks!
    Tim

What post type is this for? Post, portfolio ect?

For example, your portfolio categories are loading: http://weareinfrared.com/portfolio-category/conference-meeting-planning/

    Thanks

It’s the archive/category page for portfolio items. The archive for blog is fine. (see attached images)

    Hi,

I cannot replicate this on my dev version, have you made any modifications to the core theme?

    Thanks.

Only to move the contact details up in the template – single-team.php

I’ve deactivated all plugins except for Swift Framework and the problem persists.
Also tried deleting all custom CSS, still no luck.

    Please advise.

    Hi Tim,

Actually I can now replicate this, I am just talking with the team regarding this – we’ll get back to you with a fix/update.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

If you activate your child theme, within the child theme functions.php file please add this test function: http://pastie.org/private/ox9e1zteeyu00agdodyuqq.

    Does this resolve that issue?

    Thanks.

After opening the functions.php in the child theme I saw some code and didn’t know where to paste the new function…

Should it go at the end or somewhere in that code?

    Thanks!

Scroll to the bottom of the file and paste the code before the closing ?> tag

Yes, that worked. The title is back. Is that a final fix? Or do I need to do anything else?

    Thanks!
