    Hey!

Blog categories (and WooCommerce’s home) get a “[Category] Archives” title (actually for WooCommerce it becomes “[Shop] Archive”, singular) but I never use “Archives” in my translation file and I cannot figure out where I could change that (apart from hardcoding archive.php maybe?).

I would like it to say something such as “All articles in [Category]” (and for Woocommerce simply “[Shop]” for example.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey!

“[Category] Archives” should be present in the translation file, since all strings are translatable; although it would have HTML code instead of “[Category]”.

For category views, the single_cat_title(); WP function is being used – however, we do not define a prefix before the actual categeory name.

For archive views, you can check archive.php – as you can see, all of the string titles are translatable. Can you try modifying directly in this file and let me know if anything changes? Maybe there’s a bug with the .po file.

    Hey,

I realize now that I was not clear enough in my request.
I was talking about the actual <title>, ie what gets display on search results and in tabs.

Hence I would believe it has to be set in header.php ?
But I don’t see any condition for categories there.

    Thanks,

And… it’s fixed, sorry about that it was added by a plugin I installed.

    This is resolved :).

    Sorry again.
