Hi,
Regarding 1# if we fit the map to the points the zoom field would have to be ignored.
We did that in the Directory asset, when there is more than one pin the zoom is ignored and the map is adjusted so it can display all the pins.Is it possible that you make a quick experiment with the directory asset?
Regarding 2 will try to found a solution for that.

November 18, 2014 at 3:54 pm #129234#1. I would prefer not to use the directory asset as that introduces another custom post type with advanced options that I don’t need in this case.
The map asset allows for multiple pins, but they don’t display on mobile; that can’t be optimal or am I missing something?.
#2. Ok thanks.
November 18, 2014 at 5:31 pm #1292851# They are displaying but the zoom defined is to high to appear in the mobile. If you set it to 12 it displayed on desktop and mobile.
The other alternative than setting a Zoom level that display fine on both resolutions is to have an additional option that ignores the zoom level and fits the bounds of the map to the existent pins. But this is something that we need to talk with Ed.
2# Already made some modifications. Please clear the cache and try again.

#2. Seems improved now, thanks.
Lots of tweaks made to my files on 1.93 now, I hope they are all incorporated into 1.94…

2# When we resize the browser window the map stays where it is to respect any custom zoom level that the user may have clicked. Remember that the map was zooming on resize and I remove that.
Imagine that you zoomed out the map, if we fit the bounds on resize it will never show the chosen Zoom level that the visitor may adjusted(not the one defined on the settings) while visiting that page.

November 20, 2014 at 7:04 pm #129813Ok thanks Rui,
I suppose the important thing is to have the map load up correctly on initial page load as most people won’t be resizing the browser window anyway.
Will this change and all other chances from this thread be in 1.94?.
November 20, 2014 at 7:12 pm #129815Yes they will. Will prepare the files to send to Ed.
-RuiNovember 20, 2014 at 7:31 pm #129817Great. Thanks.
November 21, 2014 at 12:58 am #129848No problem.
-RuiNovember 21, 2014 at 3:14 am #129858Hi Anthony,
Rui has developed some options for this for the next update, to allow for setting without a zoom value.
