anytime i try to change a page or portfolio i loose connection and am unable to update the page
I am trying to change this for a meeting tomorrow and it is just impossible
….
also from the new theme update all the verticle alignment in rows does not work anymore so I have had to revert to the old versionare you able to shed some light on all these issues for me
thank you
March 9, 2017 at 2:09 pm #316599Hi,
Are you updating both the theme and the SF plugin?
Thanks.
March 9, 2017 at 2:30 pm #316606I have updated the frameworks plugin and not the theme
I previously updated the theme and all the centre column alignment did not work so I had to revert
If I try to add a saved element, it just crashes the page :/
– i can see you have updated the theme and all my alignment in certain modules is now not correct

March 9, 2017 at 7:36 pm #316681Please link me to the page you refer to so I can check your setup.
– Have you run the pending update? When I logged in this was not complete.
– When you say the page crashes, please elaborate on what you mean. Do you get an error message? Maybe provide a screenshot to clarify this.
Thanks.

March 14, 2017 at 3:37 pm #317162Yes, we can help you on this. I need the theme updated so I can see what is causing this. Ex, CSS, a rogue option set ect.
March 14, 2017 at 3:50 pm #317167The theme was updated as you asked prior (March 9th), I was replacing the stylesheet with my existing as you loose this when you update, so I was pasting this fully, hense why it was showing that it still needed to be updated.
Regardless, I fixed the issue which was with CSS in the SF plugin update. Which was causing a bug not allowing me to center items in a row.
Taking days to respond to issues sadly I find to be a poor service, and whilst purchasing this product the support included was part of why I chose to purchase your product. I have registered a complaint with Envato, if you offer this as part of your product, you should respect that and deliver.
March 14, 2017 at 4:07 pm #317173Each time you thread bump you get pushed to the back of the support queue. This is stated in our terms and above this text editor:
We also do not work weekends, these would be the cause of the longer response times.
Your CSS changes should be via a child theme, not by editing the core theme files. – If you were doing this, you should have also stated here so I do not have to repeatedly ask you to update.
Glad you amended the issue for your site anyhow.
Thanks,
David.March 14, 2017 at 4:14 pm #317178If you want to clarify what “Thread Bump” means that would be greatly appreciated.
You should state your working hours in that case so that you can set expectations and not leave people wondering, no communication leaves your customers with very little clarity on the progress of tickets.
I am also not “Editing Core theme Files” I am adding css in the style.css within WordPress.
I edited the CSS in the SF plugin as I found the cause of the issue myself days after raising it with you, and after not getting any communications or updates from you. FYI

– double posting, posting back to back as above.
Our hours are here: http://www.swiftideas.com/support-policy/.

– if it’s within the Uplift theme folder, it’s a core theme file.
