    Hi!

When I want to change the start page from posts to a static page (home), the “save&publish” (spara&publicera in Swedish) button doesn’t work. I click on in, the symbol for “saving” starts to rotate – but the button never changes to “saved” and when I try to leave the page I get the warning the changes are not saved.

I tried the same thing with another theme and it worked without problems, so I think the problem is in the theme.

I also tried uninstall all the plugins, but that made no change.
I also trried in different browsers (chrome, safari, firefox) but no change.

I had problem before with the page so today I re-installed Cardinal trough the FTP (not through WP own “install”).

    All the best!

    / Karin, Sweden

    Hi,
It worked fine to me so you can check.
    Thanks

Strange. It’s still the same problem for me. I can’t save the start page to a static page…
Did you save it and then changed back to posts?

    Hi

Does it work if you go to Settings > Reading?

Sorry for late reply, didn’t see a notice you had answered me.
It works in settings > reading! Great. Didn’t think of that possibility.

That solves the crisis, but I still can’t change or adjust any colours since the save-button doesn’t work.

I tried to install the child-theme too, but it was the same problem there.

i have never experienced this before with Cardinal, could there have been an error in the installation of the theme?

    Hi Karin,

Are you referring to the color customiser not saving?

Please test disabling all plugins, then test re-saving the color options. If that works then a plugin is causing the conflict and you will need to active each one at a time and re-test.

    Thanks.
