    I can’t remove custom widget areas from the admin panel.
    I’ve noticed there’s a trash icon next to each area, but clicking on it doesn’t take effect.

    Hi,
    Please deactivate all plugins except the Swift Framework and check for issue.

    Done, but no luck. Still can’t remove the widget areas.

    Just activate the parent theme and check for issue.

    I tested it in my server and it definitely it’s not working.
    We will reach the Redux Framework developers so they can check this situation.

    I have managed to resolve the issue so please check it now. It was just one character change in file due to wordpress upgrade.
