    Hi,
I just purchased and downloaded your Uplift theme. I can’t find a way to activate it. Once installed, I press “activate” and then the whole site gets an 500 ERROR.

I tried installing multiple times. I installed through the WordPress theme control panel and also via FTP. Nothing works, I always get the 500 ERROR. Please note that this is a fresh WordPress installation, so I’m surprised that this happens.

Now I have deleted the theme (otherwise, nothing works and I always get the error) but feel free to try to reinstall it.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    jf

FYI: I even tried to rename the .htaccess file. I still get the same 500 ERROR.

    Hi,

I tried it myself and it happened the same.
Will need that you provide me the error logs of the server to see exactly what is going on in that 500 internal server error.

    The error was

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in
    /home/citybir/public_html/montreal.citybird.ca/wp-
    content/themes/uplift/includes/sf-colour-scheme.php on line 281”

My host updated their PHP version from 5.2 to 5.6. Now it’s working, thanks!
