    Hi,

    Been doing a lot of restyling/editing with child theme. But contact for 7 (which I believe comes bundled up with the theme as an included plugin) will not override its submit button background colour.

    I am trying to override this within my child themes stylesheet but no luck. It is still showing the themes default turquoise colour #07c1b6. On inspection, somewhere it is being styled with an !important command. I have tried overriding it with adding my own !important after my css but this doesn’t do it. I can make it override while inspecting (in safari or firefox firebug) but when I replicate this css in my stylesheet it does not override. Rather annoying.

    Any fixes for this? I need it to match the rest of the sites styling of buttons and hovers for coherency.

    Many Thanks

    Hi,
    Please try to use this custom css code:
    input#contact.wpcf7-form-control.wpcf7-submit.contact-form-submit{background:#ff0000 !important}
    Thanks 🙂

    Hi,

    I’m also having this issue.

    Just tried your proposed solution but it does not work. I cannot figure out how to override the default styling of the button..

    Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    Thanks,
    Max
