    Hello there,

Does anyone know why my webpage logo isn’t showing up? I relocated my WordPress directory to a different folder and now the logo shows up blank? I have gone to theme settings and tried to upload a new one at the correct size and nothing?

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Lorne

    Hi

If you moved your installation to a new folder you will need to replace all of the links in your database. I recommend using this: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

    Thanks All,

Ok so when I was working on my site today, the Logo was there and working fine. However, I started editing pages and content and then all the sudden the logo was a broken image again?

Any ideas why? Mohammad what did you do to get it fixed?

Should I follow Kyle’s suggestions attached? Seemed like a big task! haha.

    Thanks,
    Lorne

Actually, rather than trying something new, I’ll just use Dreamweaver as I already have that setup to connect to my FTP. Find and Replace anything with the old URL.

    See any issues with that?

You can’t use dreamweaver to replace links in a database. You’re probably thinking of the files, I’m referring to the database, so all of the links you have in your content, and page links

Oh ok thanks. Is there a plug in? Or if I use the link you sent I assume I need to extract in same folder as WordPress install? Then run it directly from server?

    Sorry for dumb questions!

    This plugin should work: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/

I’d take a backup before you do anything.

    Hey Kyle,

I used the plugin, ran it, and it found lots of lab-design.com/wordpress/ and should have replaced it with just lab-design.com/ but it didn’t work, I cleared my cache and logo still is not linking properly?

    Any further ideas?

    Thanks,
    Lorne

    Hi,

In your header options, hit the remove logo buttons and add new logos.
    Let us know the result.

    Thanks Rui,

That worked! I don’t know why it worked now when I have gone through those steps before.

Oh well, I’ll see if it disappears again.

    Thanks for the help all.

Great. Probably because I cleared your plugin cache.
